The group broke up in 1987, but all of the members are healthy and still performing, with a reunion concert that took place April 16, 2011 at the Main St. Festival in Fort Worth. The members of Phyrework included lead singer - Clarence Pitts, guitarist - Willie Smith, bassist - Gerald Calhoun, keyboardist - Frank Hames, trumpeter - Jim Foster, saxophonist - Bill Eden, and drummer - John Bryant.
