The Santa Fe Line name was derived from the Santa Fe Station in downtown Fort Worth, Texas. The history of the station dates back to March 1, 1899. Over the years it has experienced many changes that each tell a story, and still stands today as a Texas landmark. Having performed together off and on for over 30 years, this band is a product of life experiences, weaving a mix of traditional and contemporary music that we enjoy putting forth for not only the listener, but ourselves as well. Whether performing a cover song from the Eagles, Will Alan Ramsey, Bill Monroe, the Plain White Tee’s or one of our hand crafted original compositions, you’ll hear a band that is unique. You might call us Progressive Roots or Newgrass, but whatever it may be, we hope you’ll catch us at our next venue. Joel Scarbrough, lead singer Chuck Justice, Joe Clements on bass guitar and violinist Ben Roberts.
